The vision of AWLN is: A peaceful and transformed Africa informed by the quantitative and qualitative leadership of women.
Inclusivity: comprising a diversity of women, including young women in leadership from all sectors of society including the political, public, and private sector, civil society, and grassroots women with recognized and emerging constituencies, and who actively engage in mobilization and participation at community levels.
The Network envisions to serve as a conduit for enhanced mobilization of women, in various sectors, to truly impact the road to peace and development on the continent and serve as an overall instrument of transformation.

The African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) is a vibrant network of accomplished women leaders with outstanding trails in the political, business, academia, science, community and general leadership arenas, as well as a pool of accomplished, talented, innovative young leaders and professionals, with notable achievements, striving to reach their leadership potential and be impactful.
AWLN Mentorship seeks to build on the outcomes of the first AWLN Intergenerational Leadership Retreat hosted in August 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya and the second retreat held virtually in December 2020. Through a social network, AWLN Mentorship envisions to foster an exchange of intergenerational views, skills and knowledge amongst network members and beyond to.
